Chairlight
The interaction of man and nature is a
recurring theme of my work. I read the pattern of scrapes and
scuffs on this ancient bar-room floor in Arizona as others
would read a novel. Floorboards worn away by the echoing
footfalls of long dead rowdies, gamblers and saloon girls. This
room inspired a number of different treatments as I sat drawing
and listening for ghosts. |
